TerraPower Corrective Action Program (CAP) Specialist in Bellevue, Washington

TITLE: Corrective Action Program (CAP) Specialist LOCATION: Bellevue, WA, USA TerraPower is a nuclear technology company based in Bellevue, Washington. Corrective Action Program (CAP) Specialist The Corrective Action Specialist is responsible for the day-to-day operations of the TerraPower LLC Corrective Action Program including analyzing corrective action data and utilizing the data to understand causes for quality, safety, and business process impacts. The ideal candidate will have experience in issue identification, and resolution, categorization, cause analysis, preventive action, and trend analysis. This is an on-site position based in Bellevue, WA and open to local candidates or those willing to relocate. Responsibilities * Monitors, tracks and trends corrective action data for performance improvement based online management requirements. * Develops and maintains weekly and monthly status reports as directed. * Facilitate weekly CAP screening committee meetings. * Facilitate monthly CAP review board meetings with senior management team. * Supports development, maintenance, and implementation of Corrective Action program procedures. * Provides direction to line functions on cause analysis. * Leads cause analysis, as assigned. * Supports condition screening, action plan approvals, and closure reviews, as assigned. * Participates in CA software improvement initiatives. * Quarterly engagements on-site in the Seattle facilities are mandatory Key Qualifications and Skills * Undergraduate degree in a technical discipline, business, management, or quality assurance field or equivalent industry and/or work experience * 5+ years' experience working at an operating nuclear plant and/or under NQA-1 or similar requirement. * Prior experience in Corrective Action Management systems (experience with DevonWay software a plus) * Cause Analysis training and/or certification * Diverse relevant CAP software application experience * Excellent verbal and written communication skills * The successful candidate will possess a high degree of trust and integrity, communicate openly and display respect and a desire to foster teamwork. * Actual position starting level and title will be determined based on assessment of qualifications. * Military experience is a plus.
