Job Overview:
Under the supervision of a Dietary Department Manager, the Cook Helper completes tasks as outlined in the job flow for the daily position assigned.
Qualifications:
Required:
Knowledge of food production, service and sanitation required
Prior cooking experience in a healthcare facility required
Position may require to work every other weekend depending on department s needs
Preferred:
High school diploma or equivalent
Culinary Degree or Certification. Serv Safe Certified
Prior experience in food service
Knowledge of food production, service and sanitation

Status: Part Time
Hours: 15 hrs. (2 days a week)
Essential Functions:
Complete tasks as outlined in the job flow for daily position assigned
Retrieve, prep and prepare items according to the daily production sheets and recipes
Follow all HACCP guidelines for food and physical safety.
