Construction helper with pool installation. The Aqua Works Pool Specialists, LLC is seeking to employ five (5) pool construction helpers for temporary full-time employment for the time period of 4/01/2025 to 11/18/2025. Work is generally 8-hour workdays, 40 hour-workweek, Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm. Work is principally at sites in Madison, St. Clair County, Clinton and Monroe Counties in IL and all work will be within then St. Louis, MO-IL, Metropolitan Statistical Area. Workers will report each day to 831 S. Belt West, Belleville, Illinois 62220. The company will provide daily transportation to and from worksites within St. Louis, MO-IL Metropolitan Statistical Area and return workers to 831 S. Belt West, Belleville, Illinois 62220. Hourly wage of \$20.71 to 22.71 per hour. Possible overtime (at Employers discretion) at wage of \$31.07 to 34.07 per hour.
Workers will work with and under the direct supervision of construction laborers and others in the installation of swimming pools. Workers will assist with various tasks to be performed by laborers and others by providing assistance such as carrying tools and materials, assisting in setting up equipment and other tools used by others on site and putting away and cleaning equipment and tools, cleaning up work sites after work is completed and disposing of waste materials from work site. All tasks to be carried out under the supervision and direction of construction laborers or other employees. No minimum education/experience required. Must be able bodied to handle and move and assist with use of tools of trade and construction materials used in the installation of swimming pools; good hand/eye coordination; able to lift weight as required to carry and use landscaping equipment and material, with or without reasonable accommodations; must be able to tolerate temperature extremes consistent with working outside in a wide variety of weather conditions throughout the year in Southwestern Illinois (90+ deg F to under 32 deg F); Employer will rely on candidates reporting and Employers observation to conclude candidate meets physical requirements.
Employer will use a single workweek as standard to compute wages, wages to be paid, paid no less frequently than every 2 weeks, all deductions required by law to be made from gross wages by employer. Workers guaranteed pay for minimum work of three-fourths of all workdays contained in each 12-week period of employment contemplated in this work order. Employer will make reimbursement to workers who complete at least 50 percent of work term certified as indicated below for subsistence and travel from home to place of employment if relocating from outside Madison or St. Clair Counties in Illinois and outside the St. Louis Metropolitan MSA and will pay for return home transportation and subsistence costs if the worker completes work for the entire term of certified employment or is dismissed from employment early. Travel reimbursement to be the lowest cost bus fare (and overnight lodging if required) between the Employers place of business in Madison County Illinois and workers home. Subsistence reimbursement to be by cash stipend limited to a minimum of \$15.88 per day and a maximum amount verified by receipts of \$59.00 per day of travel. Employer may provide limited assistance to workers in obtaining housing on a first come first served basis at market rent from landlord OTHER than Employer. Workers may obtain any housing of their choice and at their own cost. Employer will also reimburse the worker for all visa, visa processing, border crossing and other H-2B related processing fees (excluding worker passport fees) incurred by worker within the first week of work. All tools and supplies and equipment required to complete job uties to be provided by Employer without charge or deposit. This job order is being placed in connection with a concurrently submitted Application for Temporary Employment Certification for H-2B workers.
