Responsibilities MTSI is seeking a motivated and proactive journeyman systems engineer with a good understanding of modern digital engineering approaches and tools. This position requires independent critical thinking, technical expertise, and guidance in the design, development, integration, testing, and evaluation of complex systems. The incumbent will be responsible for staying current with the latest technologies, industry best practices, and regulatory requirements. The incumbent will represent projects, acting as a technical advisor ensuring the systems meet performance, reliability, and safety standards. This role requires a high degree of technical proficiency, problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate complex technical information effectively to both technical and non-technical audiences. Responsibilities: Duties to be independently executed include but are not limited to: Serve as the technical representative for systems engineering methodologies, tools and processes related to pre-program of record technical development. Lead and/or participate in the design, development, and integration of systems, subsystems, and components, from concept through production and sustainment. Conduct detailed analysis and modeling of systems, including performance, effectiveness, and vulnerability assessments.
