Description
We are in search of a Part Time Accounts Receivable Specialist to join our team in Battle Creek, Michigan. This role involves handling accounts receivable duties in the construction industry. This is a short term contract employment opportunity that requires a high level of expertise in accounting software systems and proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
Responsibilities:
• Operate accounting software systems to manage accounts receivable functions
• Use Microsoft Excel to maintain and analyze financial data
• Work within Microsoft Office Suites to create reports and presentations
• Handle accounts receivable (AR) tasks, including billing functions and check processing
• Monitor cash activity and collaborate with teams to ensure accurate financial records
• Utilize knowledge of the construction industry to understand and manage accounts
• Collect and process collectibles according to established procedures
• Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient and accurate financial operations.
Requirements • Proficiency in Accounting Software Systems
• Advanced skillset in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office Suites
• Solid understanding of Accounting Functions including Accounts Receivable (AR)
• Experience in Billing Functions and Cash Activity
• Familiarity with Check Processing procedures
• Knowledge of Construction industry accounting is a plus
• Experience with Collectibles accounting
• Strong Collaboration skills to work effectively with various teams and departments
