Instill a sense of self-responsibility for safety among associates. Ensure the safety of the associates, safe use of equipment and PPE, and housekeeping. Customer Relationship: Promote a customer-centered culture at the plant. Technical Knowledge: Develop and continually improve technical knowledge of processes in order to continually improve and problem solve. Continuous Improvement: Promote a culture of relentless pursuit of continuous improvement and lean practices, focused and data based. Utilize MDI and process confirmation system to drive quality improvement. Quality Improvement: Optimize the production process to assure that quality is built-in, not inspected in. Support quality initiatives and corrective actions to drive a culture that supports our Quality Statement and helps employees learn and improve. Active participant in customer claims, complaints diagnostic and improvement process. Collaborates with other members of organization to improve data collection infrastructure and process for analysis. Supports the quality manager in improvement efforts to establish and enforce an effective Quality Management System (QMS). Prepares product and process quality reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends. Collaborates with the process technician to manage supplier quality and ensures a process is in place to provide feedback to suppliers when defects are found and ensure corrective actions are received. Assists with internal surveillance audit process focused on ensuring adherence to the QMS, Control Plans and QPOC process. Conducts cross functional training programs in order to ensure quality technicians are for skilled in quality testing methods and internal auditing. Leads plant Quality Technicians in effective use of quality tools such as process audits, root cause counter measure (RCCM), measurement systems analysis (MSA), and statistical process control (SPC) and quality management systems. (QMS). Quality Administration: BRC Back-up Supports the facility quality efforts and defines operational procedures. Serves as the plant Change Management owner and ensures that procedures are followed and communicated to all affected associates. Assists in the review and standardization of control plans, closed loop corrective action systems and quality management systems. Enforces quality assurance standards, policies and industry/government requirements. Collaborates with other members of the quality organization to share best practices and ensure standardization across business units. Monitors the performance of the Quality Management System through data analysis and adherence to standards. Works with the quality manager to achieve overall financial objectives, reduce customer credits by making fiscally responsible business decisions and initiating corrective actions to prevent systemic issues from occurring. Manage & assist in dispositions for internal non-conformance tracking program for facility. Other duties may be assigned. Talent Management
