We are seeking a dynamic Information Security Analyst to join our team and manage user IDs across all key financial systems within BNCB, ensuring SOX compliance through proper documentation and controls. Supporting both home office and field operations, this role safeguards system access and integrity. Beyond user ID management, the analyst monitors security systems, identifies threats, and helps coordinate resolutions. Responsibilities also include performing system upgrades and working with vendors when needed. To strengthen security, the analyst compiles and analyzes weekly system performance metrics, making necessary adjustments in response to internal and external threats. This role is essential in maintaining a strong security posture and protecting BNCB’s financial systems.

How You'll Make an Impact

  • Manage user ID creation, deletion, and modifications in Active Directory and other systems.

  • Conduct quarterly system audits, reviewing IDs and access rights, and obtaining necessary sign-offs.

  • Maintain thorough documentation and manage spreadsheets effectively.

  • Ensure departing employees are promptly removed from all systems.

  • Oversee file integrity monitoring to detect unauthorized changes.

  • Provision multi-factor authentication access, ensuring proper approvals are in place.

  • Verify endpoint protection is installed on corporate devices.

  • Prepare reports and documentation for SOX and PCI audits as assigned.

  • Participate in departmental cross-training to enhance team capabilities.

  • Troubleshoot and analyze security-related issues efficiently.

  • Monitor security logs for violations and anomalies, escalating concerns as needed.

  • Assist in updating policies, goals, and procedures for BNC’s information security function.

  • Promote information security awareness across the organization.

  • Improve security efficiency and streamline processes through collaboration.

  • Contact stores to address rogue wireless access points.

  • Provide on-call support to resolve critical security alerts and notifications.

  • Additional responsibilities as required.

What You'll Need to Succeed

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, or a minimum of three years of experience in information security, system administration, or a related field.

  • Strong understanding of Linux and Windows operating systems, Active Directory (directories, permissions), and network infrastructure.

  • Experience with endpoint detection and response tools (CrowdStrike preferred) and file integrity monitoring (Tripwire a plus).

  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and experience working with help desk ticketing systems.

  • Skilled in process documentation, troubleshooting, and logical access management for system roles and ID creation.

  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with keen attention to detail.

  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

  • Ability to work independently while maintaining a customer-focused mindset—remaining calm under pressure, setting expectations, and ensuring follow-through.

Note: This is a hybrid role requiring a mix of remote work and in-office attendance to our HQ office location in Basking Ridge, NJ. Applicants must be within a commutable distance to the Basking Ridge, NJ area.

The hiring range for this position is $570000 - 62000 annually. The actual pay may vary based on a number of factors, including professional experience, hiring location, skills, competencies, and may fall outside of the range shown.
