Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Staff Accountant in Bannockburn, Illinois. The role involves assisting the finance department in creating accurate and timely financial records. The Staff Accountant will be responsible for several tasks such as maintaining and reconciling ledger transactions, reviewing and analyzing accounts payable and receivable, and preparing standard journal entries for month-end close.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in maintaining and recording general ledger transactions.

• Reconcile subledgers to the general ledger using MS Dynamics GP.

• Review and analyze accounts payable and accounts receivable and prepare aging reports for follow-up.

• Prepare reconciliation workpapers and standard journal entries for month-end close for review with management.

• Update Fixed Asset module in MS Dynamics GP and reconcile with General Ledger.

• Identify any anomalies, situations, or problems and propose changes or improvements to the workflow.

• Assist in creating department efficiencies.

• Assist in tracking and completing various forms for state and local jurisdictions.

• Serve as a backup for accounts receivable, accounts payable, collections, and billing.

• Carry out ad-hoc projects as required.

Skills:

• Proficiency in MS Dynamics 365 Business Central, MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations, MS Dynamics AX, MS Dynamics C5, MS Dynamics CRM, MS Dynamics NAV, MS Dynamics SL, and MS Great Plains Dynamics. Requirements • Must have a bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance.

• Previous experience in a similar role is desired.

• Strong knowledge of MS Dynamics 365 Business Central is essential.

• Proficiency in MS Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations is required.

• Familiarity with MS Dynamics AX is an advantage.

• Proficiency in MS Dynamics C5 is necessary.

• Must have experience with MS Dynamics CRM.

• Knowledge of MS Dynamics NAV is a plus.

• Experience with MS Dynamics SL is preferred.

• Understanding of MS Great Plains Dynamics is advantageous.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

• Ability to handle confidential information.

• A keen eye for detail and a commitment to accuracy.

• Must be able to meet deadlines and work under pressure.

• Willingness to stay updated with advancements in the field.

• Must adhere to all company policies and regulations.
