Description
A well-established law firm is seeking Legal Assistants and Paralegals to support its Workers’ Compensation and Liability Insurance Defense practice. This position offers an excellent opportunity for both recent grads and career professionals to develop their litigation and case management skills in a fast-paced legal environment. Openings are available in various practice areas, and the ideal candidate will have a strong interest in litigation, claims management, and legal document preparation.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist attorneys with case management, pleadings, and legal documentation.
Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with legal procedures.
Work independently while managing multiple priorities effectively.
Communicate with clients, courts, and other legal professionals.
Utilize case management software to organize and track case details.
Requirements
Qualifications:
1-2 years of legal experience in Workers’ Compensation or Maryland litigation processes preferred.
Strong communication, attention to detail, and follow-up skills.
Experience with case management software (e.g., Time Matters) is a plus but not required.
This role is ideal for motivated self-starters looking to gain hands-on experience in litigation and case management.
