We’re looking for you to join our team as a Business Management Analyst - Capital Administration based out of Linthicum, MD . This is an onsite position that offers the 9/80 schedule.

What You’ll Get to Do

The Business Management Analyst - Capital Administration will support the Rates and Budget's organization Capital Administration team reporting to the Manager of Capital Administration.

Roles and Responsibilities of the Business Management Analyst - Capital Administration include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Oversee and manage the cost and schedule completion aspects of ongoing projects, serving as the liaison between Capital Administration and the Division/Functional Organization Points of Contact/project managers.

  • Review all Project Justification Summaries (PJS) for accuracy, approve all PJS requests, and create and submit e-orders for approval.

  • Set up charging structure in SAP (opening and closing all WBS elements and networks.

  • Conduct timely status reviews of projects and budgets.

  • Assess project issues and develop resolutions to meet goals and objectives.

  • Monitor project from initiation through closure to ensure assets are capitalized as expediently as possible.

  • Ensure AUC balances are kept as low as possible, so that capitalization/ deprecation targets are realize

  • Responsible for asset capitalization and maintaining capitalization accountability records.

  • Interface with Division and Functional Organization points-of-contact/project leads on all matters relating to capital projects, providing guidance as necessary

  • Assist with all internal and external audit inquires.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 2 years of related experience.

  • Proficient in the use of the Microsoft Office suite of software, including Excel and PowerPoint

  • Experience with SAP or other Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) system

  • Experience preparing and presenting data and analysis to all levels in the enterprise.

  • Experience US Citizenship.

  • Ability to travel domestically 10% of the time.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in one or more of the following areas: business operations, rates and budgets, asset management

  • Advanced knowledge of MS Office products

Salary Range: $70,600 - $105,800

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
