Job Title: Business Analyst / QA Tester

Location: Hybrid in the Baltimore, MD area (20% onsite)

Job Type: Renewable W2 contract

Pay Rate: $50-$55/hr

Our public sector client is looking for a Business Analyst/QA Tester to join their team. In this role, you would analyze an organization and design its processes and systems, assessing the business model and its integration with technology. Assess current state, identify customer requirements, and define the future state and/or business solution. Research, gather and synthesize information.

Role Description:

  • Collaborate with users to gather requirements and document meeting notes.

  • Create and deliver presentations to stakeholders regarding project status, updates, and requirements.

  • Act as a liaison between developers and clients to ensure clear communication channels.

  • Manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines effectively.

  • Communicate project progress, risks, and issues to management and stakeholders.

  • Analyze business needs, document comprehensive requirements, and validate through testing and feedback loops.

  • Perform end-to-end testing, troubleshoot issues, and ensure applications meet business requirements; provide technical support and clear documentation for stakeholders.

  • Validate requirements and functionality through testing processes and user acceptance testing (UAT)

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Information Technology, or a related field.

  • Minimum of 5-7 years of experience in business analysis and quality assurance testing working within a cloud environment.

  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and business requirements.

  • Proficient in navigating an Agile methodology environment.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

  • Proficiency in creating presentations and working with PowerPoint.

  • Familiarity with software development life cycle and quality assurance processes.

  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
