Aston Carter Customer Order Specialist in Azusa, California

Role Overview:
As the Customer Support and Order Specialist, you will play a vital role in our day-to-day operations, acting as the primary point of contact for our customers. You will manage customer inquiries, process orders, handle invoicing, and ensure smooth communication across departments to guarantee customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Support: Serve as the first point of contact for customer inquiries via phone, email, and in person, offering prompt, professional, and solutions-oriented assistance.
Order Processing: Ensure accurate processing of customer orders, confirming correct pricing, addressing modifications or cancellations as needed.
Invoicing & Documentation: Generate, manage, and distribute accurate invoices promptly.
ERP System Management: Utilize ERP systems to input, track, and update customer orders, shipments, and invoicing, ensuring all data remains accurate and up-to-date.
Issue Resolution: Investigate and resolve customer issues related to orders, shipments, billing, and product questions, ensuring the highest level of satisfaction.
Cross-Department Coordination: Collaborate with sales, production, and shipping teams to facilitate smooth order fulfillment and timely delivery.
Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and detailed customer records, including purchase history and special instructions.
Process Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities to streamline operations and enhance overall customer service efficiency.
Compliance: Ensure all customer interactions and transactions adhere to company policies, industry regulations, and quality standards.
Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years in customer service, ideally within the manufacturing, pharmaceutical, personal care, or cosmetics industries.
Education: High school diploma required; Bachelor's degree in Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
Skills:
Proficient with ERP systems and Microsoft Office Suite.
Strong knowledge of customer service best practices, invoicing processes, and order management.
Knowledge of GMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) and industry regulations is a plus.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $22.00 - $27.00/hr.
