RTS Companies is hiring Machine Operators. All shifts available! Job Description:
Machine Operation:
- Operate rotational molding machinery and equipment in accordance with standard operating procedures.
- Measure and manage the loading of plastic resin into staging bins in accordance with the shift schedule.
- Load molds with the appropriate resin and monitor the molding process.
- Maintain proper cycle times, mold temperatures, and rotational speeds for optimal production.
Quality Control:
- Inspect finished products for defects and ensure they meet RTS Companies' quality standards before moving them to secondary for trimming.
- Conduct routine checks and measurements to ensure product specifications are met and non-conformities are caught as soon as possible.
- Report any quality issues or equipment malfunctions to the supervisor promptly.
Maintenance and Cleaning:
- Perform routine maintenance and cleaning of molds and machinery.
- Assist in mold changes and setup for different product runs.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to ensure a safe and efficient working environment.
Team Collaboration:
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet production goals and deadlines.
- Communicate effectively with other departments as needed to ensure smooth operations.
- Contribute in continuous improvement and provide suggestions to team members and supervisors on how to improve production.
Safety:
- Follow all safety protocols and guidelines to ensure a safe working environment.
- Identify and report potential safety hazards and implement corrective actions as necessary.
*Desired Skills* Ability to use hand and pneumatic tools. Ability to use scales to weigh material. Ability to pay attention to detail. Safety conscience. Good Attendance.
