Google Senior Staff Partner Solutions Architect, Google Cloud in Austin, Texas

Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics, or equivalent practical experience.
10 years of experience in solution engineering or architecture and 5 years of experience in stakeholder management, professional services, or technical consulting.
3 years of experience writing code in one or more programming languages (e.g., Python, Java).
Experience in Oracle database including Oracle Exadata Database Service and Oracle Autonomous Database (e.g. administration, migration, performance benchmarking and tuning).
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical fields.
Experience architecting and developing software or infrastructure for scalable, distributed enterprise systems with data, analytics, database and AI/ML technologies in public cloud.
Experience in building SaaS applications, operational databases and data warehouse solutions using Cloud products and services.
Experience in technology and service partnerships.
Ability to form strong working relationships across technical and business functions across multiple companies, and to quickly learn new emerging technologies and solutions in the Cloud technology space.
Excellent public speaking, presentation, and technical writing skills.
As a Technical Solutions Consultant, you will be responsible for the technical relationship of our largest advertising clients and/or product partners. You will lead cross-functional teams in Engineering, Sales and Product Management to leverage emerging technologies for our external clients/partners. From concept design and testing to data analysis and support, you will oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's online advertising platforms and/or product partnerships.
You will be able to balance business and partner needs with technical constraints, develop innovative, cutting edge solutions and act as a partner and consultant to those you are working with. You will also be able to build tools and automate products, oversee the technical execution and business operations of Google's partnerships, as well as develop product strategy and prioritize projects and resources.
The mission of Global Partner Engineering - Data, Analytics and Databases Team is to accelerate adoption of Google Cloud by providing the best technical experience for partners to build and deliver their innovations to their users and end-customers using the best of Google Cloud’s Data and Artificial Intelligence (AI) products and services.
In this role, you will work with Product and Engineering teams from partners and within Google to co-innovate new product capabilities and joint solutions that harness Google's planet-wide platform to drive innovation, growth and customer adoption at scale. You will focus on the strategic partnership between Oracle and Google Cloud by leading global level initiatives to ensure Oracle enterprise applications run well on Google Cloud and integrate optimally with the differentiated products and services.

The US base salary range for this full-time position is $227,000-$320,000 + bonus + equity + benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Drive product co-innovation/integration efforts between Google Cloud and Oracle.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Google Cloud AI teams (e.g., product, engineering, sales, professional services, learning, etc.).
Provide in-depth technical expertise and build joint product capabilities with Google’s strategic partners across multiple solution pillars (e.g. Analytics, Databases, AI, DevOps). Develop compelling goals for joint solution strategies, value proposition, product/capability roadmaps, and key differentiations.
Lead and participate in deep technical discussions and workshops to identify and qualify business opportunities, understand partner technical objectives and capabilities. Recommend integration/build strategies, enterprise architectures, platforms and application infrastructure required to design, build, test and optimize joint solutions.
Work with customer stakeholders as a trusted advisor and provide expert guidance on critical solution decisions.
