As part of the Building Maintenance team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities, contributing to unforgettable experiences for our visitors.Your Mission:To maintain a clean, safe, and well-functioning environment by performing essential maintenance tasks and supporting company operations, ensuring a high-quality experience for guests and staff alike.What You’ll Do:•Perform routine cleaning duties, including bathrooms, floors, and other janitorial tasks, ensuring all spaces meet cleanliness standards.•Maintain and restock materials and cleaning supplies to support daily operations.•Proactively address maintenance needs by relaying any issues related to mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems to the Maintenance Manager. •Collaborate with managers, guides, and coworkers to ensure seamless communication and operations.•Conduct regular inspections of facilities and equipment to ensure safety and functionality.•Uphold a professional appearance for yourself and maintain assigned areas to a high standard.•Support other departments as needed to enhance the overall guest experience.•Perform additional duties as assigned.What We’re Looking For:Required Skills:•Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.•Proficiency in operating and maintaining cleaning and maintenance tools, equipment, and procedures.•General knowledge of building systems, including mechanical, electrical, and plumbing.•Excellent communication skills and the ability to answer customer questions confidently.•A proactive, self-starter attitude with the ability to handle variable workloads.•Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to create and meet deadlines.•Commitment to company policies and procedures outlined in the employee handbook.Preferred Skills:•Previous experience in maintenance or janitorial roles.•Familiarity with Ausable Chasm property and operations.•Diagnostic skills and the ability to identify and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.What We Offer:•A dynamic work environment at one of America’s most breathtaking attractions.•Opportunities to contribute meaningfully to guest experiences.•A supportive team culture and opportunities for skill development.Apply today to help maintain the beauty and functionality of Ausable Chasm and be part of a team that values excellence, teamwork, and adventure!
