Rush Copley Medical Center Foundation Development Specialist in Aurora, Illinois

Position Summary: The Development Officer is responsible for managing all annual giving and special events, including direct responsibility to help organize and develop a sustaining gifts program to annually increase the universe of donors to Rush Copley Foundation. Relationships and solicitations will focus on event donors in the gift range of $1-10,000, including both individuals and corporate donors. In addition, the position will be responsible for some grant writing and reporting to both private and public foundations.

Position Requirements:

  • 3 to 5 years background in fundraising, special event management and understanding of marketing.

  • Bachelor’s degree; Masters preferred with three years experience.

  • Ability to organize, prioritize and handle multiple projects simultaneously.

  • Self-directed, but able to work within a team structure and take direction from superiors.

  • Experienced in working within budgetary frameworks.

  • Strong writing, reporting and editing skills.

$34.78 - $53.90 Hourly
