Job Summary:
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and coordinate CCPM pharmacogenomics initiatives, including clinician engagement and project oversight.
Develop evidence-based content (guidelines, educational materials) and conduct literature evaluations for pharmacogenomics initiatives.
Collaborate with teams to integrate pharmacogenomic results into electronic health records and design clinical decision support tools.
Evaluate operational and research programs using tools like Epic, and contribute to scholarly activities (e.g., abstracts, manuscripts).
Conduct patient and provider consultations related to pharmacogenomics initiatives and maintain communication with healthcare providers.
Provide teaching services in the Doctor of Pharmacy curriculum, including lectures, APPE precepting, and student assessments.
Participate in professional development activities and contribute to the oversight of post-doctoral fellows and PharmD students.

Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum degree qualifications: PharmD.
Advanced post-doctoral training in pharmacogenomics, e.g., PGY2 and/or fellowship, of at least one year duration.
The candidate must possess active pharmacist licensure in Colorado or be eligible for pharmacist licensure in Colorado, with licensure obtained within 60 days of hire.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working in a higher education setting
Experience in clinical-based project management

Pharmacogenomics Instructor - 36331 Faculty
The faculty member will work as a member of a multidisciplinary team at the Colorado Center for Personalized Medicine (CCPM). CCPM is a collaborative center at the University of Colorado's Anschutz Medical Campus that draws team members from across the University of Colorado Skaggs School of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences (SSPPS) and other schools, in partnership with UCHealth. CCPM has established one of the largest academic biobanks in the country. Currently, the CCPM biobank has returned over 700,000 pharmacogenomic results to over 73,000 UCHealth patients, making it one of the leading pharmacogenomics programs in the United States. The successful candidate will participate in innovative clinical pharmacogenomics implementation initiatives (80% time), including the CCPM biobank and clinical projects. In addition to clinical implementation, the successful candidate for this position will be expected to provide classroom-based and experiential teaching and course direction within the University of Colorado SSPPS Doctor of Pharmacy curriculum (20% time).
