Job Title: Receptionist
Salary : £12,21 per hour
Location: Avonvale Vets, Southam, Coventry
Job Type: Permanent, part-time
Hours: 19 hours per week; Saturdays at Warwick 1:12, 830-17.30 (half hour unpaid lunch)
Thursday – 08:30-19:00 (potential to split this days hours and work two shorter days for the right candidate)
Friday – 08:30-19:00
We have an exciting opportunity for a Receptionist with Avonvale vets in Southam.
We are looking for someone to welcome clients and their pets to the practice in a warm, professional manner and provide support to our friendly team.
This is a busy, varied role so previous experience would be preferable but not required. Ideal applicants will want to grow within the role, and we offer funded training, including courses with the BVRA, to support this.
Roles and responsibilities include
Welcoming clients and their pets in a warm, professional manner
Managing the diary; booking in appointments and surgical procedures
Answering a range of client questions via email and telephone
Pro-active communication between clients and colleagues to ensure the day runs smoothly
Administration duties e.g. scanning paperwork, filling in forms etc
Processing prescription requests
Taking payments
Promoting offers and services
Ensuring that reception is clean and well-stocked
