Ingredient Purchasing Clerk
Full Time – Hourly
At Hormel Foods, base pay is one part of our total compensation package and is determined within a range. The base hiring pay range for this role is between $17.44 - $24.41 per hour, and your actual base pay within that range will depend upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, job-related knowledge, skill set, level of experience, and geographic market location.
Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States

Job Responsibilities
Prepare all receiving documents for payment.
Reconcile receipts and invoices.
Accurately generate settlements for ingredients.
Maintain vendor files pertaining to lien notifications.
Comply with corporate and regulatory policies regarding vendor payment.
Address contract and application errors in a timely manner.
Communicate with supplier AR groups regarding contracts and payments.
Work with internal and external customers.
Accurately and timely record maintenance.
Support team in management of fluctuating workloads to ensure all area responsibilities are completed accurately and on time.
Other tasks and duties as assigned by the Purchasing Manager or Director.
Minimum Qualifications:
Must meet all LP biosecurity requirements.
Must have basic knowledge of accounting principles.
Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
Be detail orientated and perform accurate work.
Possess excellent organizational skills.
Possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong problem solving and decision making skills.
Proficient computer skills, experience/knowledge in MS Office.
