Showboat Resort is conveniently located on the Atlantic City boardwalk just feet away from the Atlantic Ocean. The resort features a beautifully renovated pet friendly hotel featuring 852 rooms, including walk-out balcony suites; 100,000 square feet of flexible meeting space; the world's largest arcade spread throughout the property which includes a 45,000 square foot indoor raceway. What You Will Do:
- Greet, register, and assign rooms to guests in a friendly and courteous manner.
- Answer inquiries pertaining to hotel services, arcade, waterpark, shopping, dining, and local entertainment.
- Keep records of room availability and guests' accounts.
- Compute bills, collect payments and make change for guests.
- Understand and enforce the hotel company credit policies. Account for all cash and make deposits in accordance with hotel and company policies.
- Take the initiative to greet guests in a friendly and warm manner.
- Professionally respond to guest issues and concerns effectively turning a negative guest experience into a positive recovery of those issues.
- Other duties as assigned.
Skills and Experience Needed
- Prior customer service experience required.
- Ability to utilize hotel software systems effectively.
- Friendly and courteous demeaner.
- High School diploma or GED.
