Deluxe Software Engineer - Payments in Atlanta, Georgia
Deluxe, a leading Digital Payments and Data company is looking for a seasoned Python / AWS Developer. Use your knowledge of SQL Server, AWS Glue and S3 buckets to help create innovative Cloud-based fintech products.
The Software Engineer works collaboratively with engineering management, product managers and other software engineers to develop new product offerings and improve existing installed or SAAS solutions for clients within the financial services industry.
Some of the skills we're looking for include:
Strong Expertise in Microsoft ETL data ingestion framework specifically SQL Server, SSIS DevOps.
Expertise in SQL server development and management tools.
Expertise in file management, data storage management and operations on premise and cloud.
Solid understanding of high-volume data processing frameworks on premise and Cloud.
Familiarity with data pipeline management frameworks on cloud (AWS, Azure, Google)
Familiarity with Python, R scripting and IDEs like Jupitar notebook, RStudio.
Experience with C#
Basic Qualifications:
Education and Experience:
Bachelors and 2 years or HS/GED and 5 years
Good foundation of development best practices and experience writing real world application integrating databases and operating systems
Experience in Object-Oriented Programming (OOPs) concepts and using at least one Object Oriented language like c#, Java
Worked in a Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC) methodology like Scrum/Agile
Preferred Qualifications
Education & Experience:
Master’s degree in computer science or related discipline
Minimum 2 years experience & expertise in specific frameworks like Microsoft .Net Framework, .Net Core, Java Spring Boot, JavaScript React, Angular etc.
Minimum 2 years experience & expertise in specific language like c#, Java, JavaScript, Bootstrap etc.
Minimum 2 years Experience in specific database technologies SQL, No SQL , BI etc.
Additional Basic Qualifications:
Must be 18 years of age or older
