Description We are looking for a dedicated Paralegal to join our team in Atlanta, Georgia. The role primarily involves working with insurance defense, assisting in trial preparations, e-filing, and drafting litigation documents. This position offers a contract employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of insurance defense to provide adequate support to the team
• Assist in preparing for trials, ensuring all necessary materials and documents are in order
• Handle e-filing tasks efficiently, maintaining a systematic record of all files
• Draft litigation documents as required, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail
• Review and summarize medical records with precision
• Ensure all work adheres to legal professional standards and compliances
• Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth progression of cases
• Communicate effectively with clients and team members to maintain transparency
• Stay updated on latest developments and changes in laws related to the industry
• Manage multiple tasks simultaneously, demonstrating excellent time management skills. Requirements • Must have a degree in Law or a related field.
• Prior experience as a Paralegal is highly desirable.
• Proficiency in Insurance Defense is required.
• Demonstrated experience in Litigation is essential.
• Familiarity with e-Filing systems is necessary.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
• Must possess strong organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Proficiency in using legal research tools and software.
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
• Must possess strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Must have the ability to manage high volume of work and meet deadlines.
• Knowledge of legal terminology and principles.
• Must demonstrate professionalism and respect for legal ethical codes.
