Robert Half Accounts Receivable Clerk in Astoria, New York
Description We are offering a unique opportunity in the real estate industry at a location in Astoria, New York, for an Accounts Receivable Clerk. The role includes a range of responsibilities, from processing customer applications to maintaining customer records and addressing their inquiries. This position also involves monitoring customer accounts and taking the necessary actions when required.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently manage and process customer credit applications
• Keep customer credit records up-to-date and accurate
• Take the necessary actions based on the status of customer accounts
• Resolve customer inquiries in a timely and detail-oriented manner
• Reconcile account discrepancies and ensure accurate billing
• Process cash applications and manage cash collections
• Utilize software like Oracle, QuickBooks, and SAP for various tasks
• Use Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting
• Handle commercial collections, ensuring all procedures are followed
• Use Yardi for various accounts receivable tasks. Requirements • Proficiency in Account Reconciliation is required
• Must have experience with Accounts Receivable (AR) processes
• Demonstrable skills in Billing procedures are necessary
• Proficient in Cash Applications
• Experience in Cash Collections is a must
• Familiarity with Commercial Collections is expected
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel is required
• Experience with Oracle software is a plus
• Knowledge of QuickBooks is highly desirable
• Familiarity with SAP software is beneficial
