Concept Pharmacy *is seeking a Pharmacy Technician* for our Pharmacy in Ashland, PA!
*Shift Available: *
- Full-Time position
- Monday-Friday, 10am - 6:30pm (Every third weekend and three holidays per year required)
Starting hourly rate $16.00 per hour
QUALIFICATIONS
- Possesses verbal and written skills necessary for effective communication.
- Able to overcome any physical barriers in order to carry out the functions of this position description
- Satisfactory criminal record report
Experience in using computers

DUTIES
* Training available for all below:*
- Performs prescription processing & dispensing under the direct supervision of a registered pharmacist
- Packages medications in different packaging systems according to the facility's protocol (manual & automated)
- Compounds various topical dosage forms, liquids, suppositories, and other non-sterile products according to established protocols
- Performs sterile IV admixture
- Participates in compounded sterile product and environmental quality control
- Performs basic operations in the Framework software system
- Assists with the maintenance and tracking of infusion pumps
- Assists with the proper storage and security of medications, supplies, & equipment in accordance with the organizations policies and procedures and all applicable laws
- Assists with the stocking, ordering and inventory control of all pharmaceuticals, supplies, & equipment.
- Prepares and checks all orders for delivery
- Assists with inventory management and participates in quarterly inventory
- Performs stocking, restocking and destocking of the Cubex and E-box supplies
