Guest Services, Inc. Overnight Relief Security Manager in Ashford, Washington

Compensation Amount: 21.00 USD HourlyProvide overnight security by conducting and documenting regular rounds of all areas of Flamingo Adventures including Marina, Campgrounds, and Employee Housing. Maintain quiet hours and fire watch as management representative, respond to fire alarms. Ensure that all assigned areas are locked and secured.

Job Description:

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Conduct complete and thorough rounds throughout Flamingo Adventures.
  • Respond to alarms and investigate disturbances.
  • Patrol campgrounds, marina, eco-tent area, and employee housing.
  • Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
  • Monitor noise levels in guest areas and employee housing, respond as needed.
  • Call NPS Dispatch in cases of emergency, such as fire or presence of unauthorized persons.
  • Circulate among guests and employees to preserve order and protect property.
  • Performs such other related duties as directed or required.

SKILL AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS INCLUDE

  • Partial High School education required; High School Diploma/G.E.D. required.
  • Previous security or related experience strongly preferred.
  • Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
  • Ability to respond to and resolve noise and other disturbances in a professional and appropriate manner.
  • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information and communicate it to management.
  • Valid driver's license.

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Moving about on foot to accomplish tasks, particularly frequent movements from place to place within the unit.
  • Bend, lift, carry, reach/extend arms and hands above shoulder height frequently, or otherwise move in a constantly changing environment.
  • Lifting, carrying, and pushing up to 25 lbs. regularly, 30-35 lbs. frequently, and up to 50 lbs. occasionally.
  • Ability to stand for the entire work day.
  • Climbing steps regularly.
  • Withstanding temperature extremes and inclement outdoor weather.
  • Reading and writing work-related documents in English.
  • Speech recognition and clarity, including the ability to understand the speech of customers and co-workers and the ability to speak clearly so that you can be understood by customers and co-workers in English.
  • Ability to visually inspect traffic/vehicles.
  • Physical presence at the job site is essential to perform job duties.
