Responsibilities:
Strictly adhere to production schedules to ensure flawless execution of manufacturing processes
Determine resource requirements and competently manage production capacity
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to successfully implement process improvements
Proven ability to analyze data and make informed decisions to optimize production efficiency
Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall operational performance
A Day in the Life:
1 Team champion and lead S&OP management process
Align with Supply Chain Planning to understand supply constraints (capacity / mix limitations, logistics issues) and, similarly, incorporate these into the scheduling algorithm for Fabrication team.
Maintain achievable build & ship plan, with focus on minimizing costs and internal lead-time.
Supervise and maintain usable/available capacity through the use of a capacity analysis tool.
Effectively run accurate effectivity dates resulting from Engineering Changes.
Manage notifications (ECN’s), product transfers, and End of Life (EOL) activity.
Must have strong analytic capability
2 Create the daily Fabrication schedule .
Supervise and communicate all revenue progression and risks to operations weekly.
Maintain tool to understand accurate delivery and alignment to daily schedules.
Communicate all project requirements, via capacity model, and all future changes in capacity.
Coordinate the introduction of new production launches and engineering changes with the team
Cross train and work with team to deliver results and maintenance of workflow with member absences
3 Key Performance Indicators:
OTD (On Time Delivery)
Inventory Days of Supply (DOS)
Drive Efficiency and productivity
Promote Safety & Quality
Generate Reports
Requirements:
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain management, Engineering, or a related field
Minimum of 5 years of experience in manufacturing scheduling
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Sophisticated PC skills, with emphasis on spreadsheet skills and ERP/MRP experience.
Ability to effectively and professionally work under pressure, in a team-oriented environment, with frequent changes in deadlines and priorities
