Overview
This position is contingent upon contract award
SOS International LLC (SOSi) is seeking a Guest Liaison to support a services contract in Doha, Qatar.
Essential Job Duties
Advise Site Manager and Program Manager on service delivery to support an Afghan population.
Interface with Afghan population, U.S. Government, and international organizations to provide feedback and recommendations to SOSi management for program execution.
Assess facilities, services, and practices for cultural sensitivities and quality of performance.
Provide staff training on cultural sensitivities.
Prepare reports.
Minimum Requirements
Associate’s degree and 5 years of professional experience. High school diploma and 10 years of professional experience may be substituted.
3 years experience as a linguist or cultural advisor supporting U.S. personnel.
Native Dari or Pashto speaker.
Proficient written and verbal communicator.
Proficient in Microsoft Office suite of applications.
Work Environment
Living and working conditions at the assignment location could be remote and uncomfortable.
Long hours, exposure to weather and hazardous conditions.
Personnel should be aware of moving on short notice and under adverse conditions.
