SAIC ECM Systems Administrator in ARLINGTON, Virginia
Description
SAIC is seeking a Systems Administrator to support our electronic records management system and software tools at United States Marshals Service in Arlington, Virginia. The Systems Administrator is responsible for the day-to-day administration of the organization's electronic records management system. This includes tasks such as installing, configuring and maintaining the electronic records management system and associated tool, servers, and network devices; troubleshooting technical problems; and providing support to users. The Systems Administrator must also have a strong understanding of security principles and practices and be able to implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization's data.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Configure and maintain system tools specifically OpenText ECM, Jira, and GitLab.
Troubleshoot technical problems and provide support to users.
Implement and maintain security measures to protect the organization's data.
Plan and execute system upgrades and migrations.
Work with vendors to install and configure hardware and software.
Document system configurations and procedures.
Stay up to date on the latest technologies and trends.
Qualifications
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree and 9+ years related experience; Master’s degree and 7+ years related experience. Additional experience in lieu of a degree.
Experience with Jira, GitHub and other software tools.
Experience in configuration management and access configuration.
Knowledge of electronic records management systems.
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
Desired Qualifications:
Experience with electronic records management systems.
Experience with OpenText ECM.
Clearance / Citizenship Requirements:
US Citizenship is required.
Must be able to obtain DoD Secret clearance and DOJ Public Trust prior to starting.
