Your role as a Cell Lead will allow you to serve staff and leaders and help provide creative solutions to drive CPC's short- and long-term goals. SUMMARY The Production Cell Lead position is responsible for assisting production leadership in the daily coordination of work activities and the development of production employees. Will ensure that safety, quality, policies and procedures are followed; production schedules are achieved; and be the lead assembler on the assigned product work cell. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Provide generalwork direction to 8-12 employees in assigned work cells within production. Monitor production to ensure that quality, productivity, and schedule attainment are maintained. Monitor assigned cell performance including the following metrics: actual to pace, actual to daily plan. Notify Team Leads and Supervisors of any issues. Identify quality issues and properly tag non-conforming jobs for hold or quarantine process. Provide employee training to ensure that employees are performing job responsibilities effectively. Recognize waste and recommend opportunities for continuous improvement. Conduct on-the-job training for new hires, track progress and provide information to Team Leads and Production Supervisors. Maintain a clean and organized work area. Verify that all team members are using proper PPE and following all safety procedures. Lead teams flex exercises. Participate in safety incident investigations. Participate in related team and/or task group meetings to ensure the continuous improvement of processes, methods, productivity, and quality. Contribute to an environment in which all team members are respected regardless of their individual differences and are motivated to improve their individual and work area contributions to achieve desired business results. Collaborate and communicate cross-functionally with logistics, supermarket and other Cell Leads to verify components for job order are the correct components and are available at production line, to set priorities and meet production needs. Monitors production and adjusts work assignments, supply of material, and machine operation when necessary. Review job order instructions with Line team members. Performs basic adjustments on various machines. Performs basic line / job change-over and line clearance operations.Perform quality checks of the line. Identify and report problems and potential problems regarding materials quality and other work-related issues and recommend corrective action promptly. Complete final paperwork and ensure content is accurate per Standard Operating Procedures Other duties as assigned. QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS: A minimum of a High School diploma is required. Minimum 2 years' experience in a manufacturing setting Ability to plan, organize, and effectively lead people in a manufacturing environment. Ability to perform ta ks carefully, accurately, and efficiently following specific instructions and in compliance with quality and safety standards. Basic computer skills, including an ability to learn and use company systems. Strong written and verbal communication Provides on-the-job technical coaching and provides feedback to others in a positive fashion. Demonstrated record of high-performance. Previous experience working in a clean room environment is helpful. Effective verbal and written communication skills are required.
