SUPERVISOR MiFamily Together Ann Arbor Area - Washtenaw, Monroe, Lenawee Counties
We are searching for a supervisory candidate to join our Samaritas Family Preservation Team! This position will be in the brand-new MiFamily Together program. MiFamily Together (MiFT) is a contract through the State of Michigan Family Preservation Program Office. This is a pilot program covering Washtenaw/Lenawee/Monroe Counties and is replacing previous Family Preservation programs in the service area. Samaritas is excited to be partnering with the State of Michigan to bring this new program to life!
MiFT will be working with families that have children at risk of abuse or neglect to strengthen Protective Factors, build skills and lower risks, utilizing the 2 Generational Approach. MiFT will work with families in their homes and communities for up to 6 months. MiFT focuses on the family as a whole, building family well-being.

This newly-available full time child welfare opportunity has an annual salary of $56,784.00.

Duties and Responsibilities
Ensure implementation of trauma informed services and intervention in accordance with applicable regulatory, contract, agency and center requirements.
Coordinate and facilitate the intake process and assignment of new cases to assigned staff.
Develop and maintain effective working relationships with administrators, referral sources and community partners.
Provide on-going leadership to staff in accordance with established policies and procedures. Partner with Human Resources in talent acquisition and retention efforts. Assist in preparation and implementation of relevant professional development, training and performance management. Facilitate team meetings, supervision with staff as required by contract and coordinate the daily activities of program.
Review, correct and assist in the writing of all reports, case notes, data entry, treatment plans and correspondence.
Audit case records to ensure completeness and compliance with prescribed services and contract requirements.
Participate in developing, implementing, and monitoring outcome measurements and processes to assure quality improvement related to service provisions.
Assist in the maintenance of information and data management systems by providing information and statistical reports as required.
Provide direct service as needed to ensure continuous agency supervision and service provision to clients and referral sources required by the contract funding bodies including meeting with each family referred.
Job Qualifications Education, Experience, Training and Licensure/Certification
Bachelor degree in any human services field or education.
Experience
Supervisory experience preferred
Field experience working with families with multiple problems and clinical work preferred.
Additional Work Requirements
Scheduling flexibility with the ability to work extended hours, evenings and weekends if needed.
Valid driver's license with good driving record; reliable ongoing personal transportation suitable for safely transporting persons served, current automobile registration and proof of automobile insurance.
