Description
Our trusted client in the service industry is seeking a Senior Finance Manager Consultant to join our team in Ann Arbor, Michigan for a long-term engagement. In the Service industry, your role will be pivotal in maintaining accurate financial records and delivering strategic financial plans. This hybrid role will report directly to the Sr. Director of Corporate FP& A.
The day-to-day responsibilities include:
• Consolidate global financials at the end of each month in collaboration with all regions
• Develop and implement strategic financial plans
• Handle monthly forecasting tasks
• Create and present the KPI scorecard to the board
• Conduct bridge analysis to understand financial variances
• Generate and present financial reports to the board
• Utilize skills in Planful and Consolidations to manage financial records and strategies
• Analyze variance to ensure financial stability and growth.
Requirements
The ideal candidate will have the following skill set:
• Proven work experience as a Finance Manager in the Service industry for a minimum of 5 years
• Proficiency in strategic planning and execution of financial plans
• Demonstrated ability to use Planful for financial planning and analysis
• Experience in preparing monthly forecasts and annual budgets
• Strong skills in analyzing variance between forecasted and actual results
• Comprehensive understanding of Consolidations in financial management
• Capacity to work independently and collaboratively within a team
• Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal
• Detail-oriented and analytical thinker
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage time efficiently
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint
• Relevant certification in Finance or related field is preferred.
