Description Robert Half is seeking an Accounts Payable (A/P) Clerk to join a team of highly skilled professionals in a stimulating work environment. The candidate in this role will work closely with and report to the Accounting Manager. Other responsibilities include attending to the general administrative needs of the AP/Finance Department,. Matching and batching code, resolving A/P issues, processing expense reports, updating and reconciling sub-ledger to G/L and processing checks are integral functions for this position. What you get to do every single day
Manage customer service tasks for internal business partners
Help with internal and external audits as required
Execute daily processes and controls accurately and in a timely manner; ensuring compliance with company policies
Complete full-cycle A/P
Handle administrative tasks for the AP/Finance Department
Manage the process of verifying, logging, and mailing checks, including expediting special handling
Handle daily department mail by opening, sorting, and distributing it
Perform special projects as assigned
Ensure invoices, checks, and other documents are properly sorted, logged, scanned, and filed Requirements - AA or BS/BA degree in Accounting, Business or similar preferred
Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills, especially when interacting with those in the technical and financial backgrounds
Be detailed, flexible, and organized
Spreadsheet and database capabilities
Prior experience in an A/P role preferred
Command of Microsoft Excel
Strong familiarity with Accounting Entries
Data entry experience
