Job Description
Ahlan Simsim, or “Welcome Sesame” in Arabic, is a groundbreaking initiative by Sesame Workshop and the IRC. It is the largest early childhood intervention in the history of humanitarian response, designed to provide transformational early childhood development and playful learning to children affected by conflict and crisis in the Middle East. Since its inception, Ahlan Simsim has reached over 3.5 million children and caregivers through direct services and engaged 27 million more through its award-winning, locally produced Arabic-language version ofSesame Street.This initiative integrates educational media with direct support programs, ensuring that children and their families receive holistic, evidence-based support to thrive despite the challenges posed by their environments.
Job Overview: The Project Manager – Post-Award and Coordination ensures seamless execution of work towards grants deliverables through efficient monitoring of country teams' deliverables for accurate and timely internal and donor updates and reporting. This role also involves maintaining grants and compliance trackers, coordinating grants management meetings with country programs and partners, managing compliance and grant-specific workflows and updating project work plans.

Grants management and support with country programs and regional teams
Grants knowledge management and administration
Internal and donor updates and reporting on grant deliverables and program achievements
Main Responsibilities:
Grants Management
Coordinate and support regional and country program project cycle meetings
Keep track of all program activities carried out by Ahlan Simsim teams across the region and suggest areas of overlap/coordination
Maintain awards and compliance trackers and ensure that teams have access to relevant grants and compliance-specific information and documents as needed
OTIS workflows and other grant management systems and files are kept up to date
Coordinate with IRC’s Awards Management Unit focal points as needed
Reporting and Information Sharing
Coordinate all narrative reports ensuring that inputs are high quality, consistent across teams and in line with deliverables per the workplan and commitments
Collect and consolidate inputs from teams for regular updates and information sharing internally within the IRC and with Sesame as needed
Coordinate internal updates for leadership on current project deliverables and regular updates
Project Management and Coordination
Ensure smooth management and coordination across the Project Management team by coordinating regular meetings and keeping track of PM deliverables and trackers, especially for post-award
Through maintaining trackers, workplans and other relevant project management tools, especially for post-award, keep up-to-date on activities and priorities across other teams to ensure synergies and priorities are duly noted and organized for maximum efficiency.
Coordinate meetings with partners, including Sesame Workshop, for grant deliverables
Coordinate regular regional team meetings from scheduling to agenda setting to follow-up with notes and on action points, especially for post-award
Ensure knowledge management of Ahlan Simsim award files and making sure they’re organized and user-friendly for team members to access.

Internal:ECD staff (regional and countries’ teams), E-learning team, Technical Advisors (region and HQ based), IRC support staff;

Qualifications
Demonstrated Skills, Competencies and Experience:
Minimum 4 years proven related administrative work experience required.
Experience in developing work plans and timelines
Proven experience in writing and editing: the ability to draft memos and reports, preferred.
Experience in humanitarian aid projects and/or social impact projects, preferred
Excellent English and Arabic skills (written and spoken);
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Excellent organization and administrative skills with great attention to detail.
Must be a multitasker, independent and comfortable working in a fast paced, multicultural environment.
Advanced computer skills in Zoom, Teams, MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and file sharing
Knowledge and content management experience, including developing and maintaining file and record-keeping systems.
Working Environment:
The position is based in Amman, and may include some travel to Lebanon, Iraq, Turkey, Syria, Libya and Yemen.
