Your main tasks and responsibilities:

  • Plan, delegate, and coordinate project tasks across engineering and other departments

  • Oversee technical, financial, schedule, and quality aspects, ensuring alignment with KPIs and ESH standards

  • Ensure compliance with all contractual project requirements and obligations

  • Monitor project performance, proactively managing risks, scope changes, and resource needs

  • Maintain up-to-date financial tracking (SAP), issue invoices, and follow up on payments

  • Ensure timely decision-making and swift resolution of project issues

  • Optimize costs and cash flow without compromising quality or schedule

  • Report project progress and performance to stakeholders and senior management

  • Identify and document lessons learned to drive continuous improvement

  • Manage guarantee cases and ensure full compliance with change management procedures

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience: 7+ years in project management and engineering within process plants (Oil & Gas, chemicals, pharma)

  • Education: Master’s degree in Chemical or Mechanical Engineering preferred

  • Certifications: PMP or IPMA is a plus

  • Languages: English required; German or French is a plus

  • Technical Skills: Strong expertise in project delivery, engineering interfaces, and cross-department coordination

  • Soft Skills: Team leadership, communication, and ability to work in multicultural environments

  • IT Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (including MS Project) and SAP
