Robert Half Finance Manager in Allentown, Pennsylvania
Description We are in search of a Finance Manager to join our team in the Legal industry, based in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The main function of the role involves overseeing financial planning, managing the general ledger, supervising accounts payable and receivable functions, ensuring compliance with accounting standards, and managing firm expenses.
Responsibilities:
• Oversee firm-wide financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting processes to ensure financial efficiency
• Manage and reconcile all accounts to maintain accurate financial records
• Supervise the processing of vendor payments and monitor outstanding account balances
• Guarantee accurate financial reporting and compliance with accounting standards through strict enforcement of internal controls
• Monitor and manage cash flow, oversee financial transactions, and identify opportunities to reduce costs
• Collaborate with external payroll providers to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
• Foster relationships with financial institutions, manage firm accounts, and optimize cash management strategies
• Provide financial insights to firm leadership, including trend analysis and key performance indicators
• Coordinate with external accountants and auditors, oversee tax filings, and ensure regulatory compliance. Requirements • Proficiency in using Accounting Software Systems is a must for effective financial management.
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services is required to streamline finance-related processes.
• Experience with BlackLine software will be beneficial for managing finance-related tasks.
• Knowledge of Concur software is needed to handle expense management more efficiently.
• A good understanding of ERP - Enterprise Resource Planning is necessary for effective business process management.
• Ability to perform Accounting Functions efficiently is a key requirement for this role.
• Experience in managing Accounts Payable (AP) is necessary for maintaining financial health.
• Proficiency in handling Accounts Receivable (AR) is required for efficient cash flow management.
• Auditing skills are needed to ensure compliance with financial laws and regulations.
• The ability to execute Billing Functions efficiently is essential for accurate financial reporting.
