About the Team

The MSP Sales Specialist - Americas will be a vital member of the Service Providers team at Nutanix. This team operates across the Americas with a remote-friendly setup that fosters a collaborative and dynamic work culture. Our mission is to drive growth within the Service Provider market by building robust partnerships and delivering innovative solutions that meet customer needs. The team values open communication, teamwork, and creativity as we work together to achieve our ambitious goals.

You will report to the Director, Service Providers - Americas, who is known for their hands-on leadership style and strong focus on mentorship and professional growth. The manager encourages an open-door policy, promoting an environment where team members are empowered to share ideas and take initiative. This role is primarily remote, requiring minimal in-office presence, allowing for flexibility and a comfortable work-life balance.

This position will entail approximately 50%+ travel, as you will be engaging with Service Provider partners and customers across various locations throughout the United States. The role demands a proactive approach to relationship building and collaboration, necessitating frequent visits to drive business objectives and strengthen partnerships.

Your Role

  • Drive revenue and pipeline growth in the Service Provider market, achieving short and long-term sales goals.

  • Manage the complete sales cycle, fostering strong partnerships with Service Provider prospects and customers.

  • Evolve and optimize the strategic coverage model for the Service Provider business to enhance productivity and ROI.

  • Collaborate with Nutanix Account Managers to promote and close deals on tenant services offered by Service Provider partners.

  • Develop and execute comprehensive business plans covering relationship building, solution development, and marketing enablement.

  • Conduct regular business reviews and define metrics to track progress and performance with partners.

  • Educate partner stakeholders on Nutanix's value proposition and identify growth opportunities in the Service Provider market.

  • Implement a proactive approach to enable cross-functional collaboration and adapt business strategies as needed.

What You Will Bring

  • 10+ years of experience in sales with a focus on Service Providers .

  • Strong business acumen and hands-on leadership qualities.

  • Excellent organizational skills with a proven track record in executing sales plans.

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities for relationship building at all levels.

  • Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills to influence and inspire action.

  • In-depth knowledge of infrastructure, cloud solutions, and IT services management.

  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities for maximizing growth opportunities.

  • High ethical standards and integrity in business practices.

Work Arrangement

Remote: This position is primarily remote. There is no specific in-office requirement, however, there may be circumstances where you may be required to come into a local office for a specific purpose, and/or to travel to other locations based on business needs.

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between USD $ 245,680 and USD $ 368,520 per year.

However, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered. Details of participation in these benefit plans will be provided if an employee receives an offer of employment.

If hired, employee will be in an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base salary (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
