News10 ABC in Albany New York is hiring a full-time Building Maintenance Technician. The Building Maintenance Technician will assist and conduct daily facility functions and maintenance.Assist in and conduct the daily operations and maintenance of building systems, including other general maintenance requirements of facilities Provide seasonal lawn care including mowing, weed whipping, raking of leaves, trimming shrubs, treating for weeds and other services neededRemove trash cans in common areas and dispose of trash as neededClean common areas and workspaces including restrooms and maintenance garage when neededAssist Chief Engineer with supervising onsite contracted workFollow safety regulations and procedures including safety operating vehicles and machineryOther duties and projects as assignedRequirements & Skills:High school diploma or GEDValid driver’s license and good driving record is required.Broad experience of general maintenance techniques and repair workProficient in operating equipment including hand tools, power tools and commercial machineryAbility to work outdoors year roundBasic communication and writing skillsGood problem-solving skillsAble to work independently as well as part of a teamBenefits:Salary Range: $16 - $17.50Competitive compensation package with medical, dental, vision, life insurance, 401(K), and more.
