Alcon Construction, Inc. Metal Building Foreman in Alamosa, Colorado
Metal Building Foreman: We are looking for a full-time foreman for a metal building erection crew. Must have extensive experience in pre-engineered metal buildings (PEMB), safety and people management. Our foreman supervises and works with their crew to ensure projects are completed per the plans and specifications in an efficient and safe manner while also ensuring quality standards are met.
To be successful, a candidate should have: A minimum of 3 years' experience in all phases of PEMB, including standing seam roofs and Simple Saver Previous foreman experience Stable work history with references from current/previous employer(s) A valid driver license with a clean driving record Reliable transportation to get to and from work The ability to read plans and specifications Your own tools of the trade Experience with Behlen and/or Chief Buildings is preferred
Hours are Monday through Friday, 40+ hours per week, and occasional weekends. Work is primarily in the San Luis Valley but will require out of town travel for certain jobs. Must be reliable, safety conscious, able to take direction, and work with others. This position requires ability to climb, kneel, stoop, crouch, balance, squat, and tolerate heights as well as exert heavy physical effort. The work environment is typically outside on construction sites and may require work in confined spaces.
Compensation depends on experience and is expected to be between $24 and $29 per hour.
