Alcon Construction, Inc. Concrete Laborer in Alamosa, Colorado
Experienced Concrete Laborer: Alcon Construction, Inc. is looking for an experienced concrete laborer to work with a concrete foreman and help lead a crew. This individual must have knowledge of concrete construction, concrete placement and safety regulations. With the crew, this individual will assist in all phases of concrete projects including site prep, setting forms, tying rebar, pouring, finishing, and site clean-up. Projects you may work on include sidewalks, curb and gutter, walls, and foundations.
Qualified applicants must: Have at least 2 years concrete experience (as shown on your resume or application) Be able to read plans Understand concrete placement, curing and finishing techniques Have a reliable method of getting to and from work, preferably have a driver's license Have your own tools of the trade Be able to lift 50 lbs.
The work schedule is Monday through Friday with possible Saturdays required, 40-50 hours per week, with overtime. This position requires the ability to climb, kneel, stoop, crouch, balance, squat, and exert heavy physical effort. Work is typically outside, in a variety of weather conditions, and may require work in confined spaces.
Compensation is expected to be between $19 and $24 per hour depending on related experience.
