JOB TITLE: Americorps Pathway Navigator

MUSTS: Bachelor s degree from an accredited college or university or corresponding experience. Experience in management for both individuals and groups. Proven group facilitation skills. Must be able to pass a Motor Vehicle Record. Must pass NSCHC background check and fingerprinting. Must have a driver's license.

DUTIES: The AmeriCorps Pathways Navigator will oversee all aspects of the AmeriCorps Host Site program. This position will work in coordination with La Puente's Full-time volunteer program (FTV) to implement and support the service year for 30-40 individuals at the 8+ host sites, including recruitment, placement in a service site, benefits, and support (retreats, check-ins, performance measures). The Pathways Navigator is responsible for ensuring that each host site organization, their Member supervisors, and each individual Member, fully understand and implement both AmeriCorps policy and procedures and appropriate RAD documents, and receive guidance as needed to have a successful service years. The Pathways Navigator will work closely with the Director of Full-Time Volunteers to create and implement career pathways for participating members of the RAD progr Schedule and conduct interviews with viable candidates for the AmeriCorps positions. Vet applications and resumes for the open AmeriCorps positions Receive and respond to daily inquires about RAD AmeriCorps through email and calls Coordinate with Host site Supervisors about candidates and extend offer when appropriate Attend local Career fairs at Adams State and other institutions in Colorado AmeriCorps Members and Volunteer Management/ Retention: Conduct regular check-ins with AmeriCorps members and full time volunteers to assess their professional and emotional well-being. Monitor members' progress towards fulfilling their service hours. Navigate any conflict and provide support to members in their service sites Create and implement trainings on career development Facilitate one on one and group management of member s career pathways. Establish and build relationship with the 8 rural nonprofit organization throughout the state of Colorado Address any member concerns or recognize outstanding contributions. Inform supervisors about upcoming deadlines, meetings, and AmeriCorps events. Organize trimester virtual meetings with all supervisors and Executive Directors across the RAD program and plan one Supervisor training during the year Complete host site check ins every trimester checking in with the supervisors and members. Plan and coordinate logistics for AmeriCorps Orientation, Swearing in Retreat, and Mid year retreat such a lodging, transportation, meeting spaces, and meals Facilitate or coordinate facilitations of trainings for these retreats focusing on the topics such as team building, burnout prevention and career pathways Ensure timely and accurate data collection from each host site, following trimester schedules. Regularly update personal timesheets with grant-related activities and descriptions. Oversee members' timesheets, ensuring they are on track and submitted promptly. Supervising the timely completion of all reports and documents of all required reports. Assure host sites comply with budget and in-kind requirements Attend annual conferences such as ASC and ACGMI to gather insights on program management and network with other AmeriCorps professionals. Participate in La Puente wide events such as the Christmas Outreach party and Share the Magic Gala Attend monthly La Puente Allstaff meeting and share programmatic updates Network with local business to get AmeriCorps discounts Coordinate AmeriCorps and full time volunteer housing with La Puente Housing

WAGES: $41,000 to $45,000 DOE

BENEFITS: 60 or 70% of Health Insurance, depending on plan (Bronze or Silver) Participation in Health Flex Savings Plan (FSA), as desired 13 days of PTO in the first year and 7 paid holidays annually.
