Philips R2R Accountant (Fixed Assets) in Alajuela, Costa Rica
Job Summary
The RTR accountant support accounting operations four Fixed Assets in our Costa Rica Factory.
Your role:
Maintain control, allocation, recording and physical verification processes for Philips fixed assets and their related accounting activities.
Review that all balances are correctly held and that adequate reconciliations are available with appropriate documentation.
Verify compliance with accounting standards and regulations (PAP, IFRS, local regulations)
Support the local ORUs and Infosys in providing accurate and timely data for group consolidation & reporting (Month End Close)
Provide accurate & timely data for fiscal reporting and other requirements. Complete Internal Controls work in accordance with the Internal Control Standard (ICS) tool on a timely and accurate basis. Responsible for accounting processes for one or more ORUs
Manages relevant internal controls for one or more ORUs Interacts with Accounting controller, Infosys and where needed finance business partner to ensure smooth RTR processes and smooth preparation of financial accounts for one or more ORUs.
You're the right fit if:
1+ years of experience in accounting roles including, working with fixed assets, and Month End close or equivalent mix between experience and academic studies.
Bachelor's degree in accounting, Finance, related areas or an equivalent mix between academic studies and experience.
Proficient in Excel, SAP is a plus
Intermediate English Proficiency
