Role Overview

Carries out broad assignments involving the procurement of important items, requiring extensive or specialized knowledge and experience. Generally obtains the necessary materials in the right quantities, at the right time, and at the right quality and price to meet objectives of the company. Ensure that planning and procurement activities are conducted and documented in accordance with GMP’s, FDA, ISO Requirements and Company Operating Procedures.

Responsibilities

  • Drives Customer Demand Fulfilment by ensuring material availability in the supply chain

  • Tactical material planning (forecast and handshake feedback) with internal and external suppliers in an optimized way through the use of planning/forecasting calculation methods

  • Operational material planning and Purchase Order management according the targets set it.

  • Identify supply risks and issues, drive mitigation actions and escalate if needed

  • Master data settings to assure the MRP functionality.

  • Continuous harmonization and improvement of material supply processes ensuring Philips Global Processes execution

  • Monitor and secure supplier delivery performance

  • Follow up material life cycle, securing in time availability and prevention of obsolescence, past dues and excess of inventory.

  • Inventory analysis and policy definition to secure material availability against minimum inventory allowed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor Degree in Business Administration or a combination of equivalent job experience in related field.

  • Minimum 5 years’ related experience.

  • Minimum 3 years’ related experience (for Bachelor degree)

  • For maintenance spare part and services procurement, a technical education required

  • Minimal technical knowledge for maintenance parts purchases

  • Advanced English level
