A Typical Day
The Senior Vice President Technology Operations is responsible for ensuring maximum uptime in a 24/7 environment with a national footprint through multiple 3rd party vendors with a focus on communicating: issue resolution, network and server maintenance, systems monitoring, infrastructure availability, the tracking and driving of departmental goals, and monitoring and reporting on departmental progression. As the SVP Technology Operations , you will ensure that our Operations Center is staffed accordingly to monitor, manage, and maintain the redundant datacenter infrastructure and ensure uptime of multiple 3rd party providers.
The Senior VP Technology Operations will:
Ensure continual process improvement within the Operations Center including but not limited to automation of Operations Center tasks and reporting, implementation of company-wide monitoring initiatives and routine administration tasks
Identify and interview candidate(s) for the network operations team when needed
Verify processes and procedures (e.g. reporting, patches, updates, call answering/handling, and training) are in place to support scalable growth
Manage the creation and maintenance of all Operations Center related documentation
Generate key reports for management including but not limited to: system availability, service level agreements, and customer issues
Perform other related duties as required and assigned
Demonstrate behaviors which are aligned with the organization’s desired culture and values
What You’ll Bring
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
10+ years of experience managing dynamic technology environments
Experience in enterprise EUC/VDI deployments, preferably with VMware Horizon
Strong understanding of VMware virtualization technologies (vSphere, vSAN, NSX) and cloud solutions (VMC on AWS)
Fluency with Horizon, Workspace ONE, App Volumes, and customized Windows OS deployment
Familiarity with AWS (VMC) and Azure (AVD)
Knowledge of networking concepts (VPNs, load balancing, firewalls) for secure remote access
Scripting and automation skills (PowerShell, APIs, etc.)
Demonstrated competency in technical writing, including various documentation, management reports, and metrics
Strong technical proficiency in troubleshooting, managing, and monitoring networks and server hardware and software in a Linux and windows environment

Compensation: Individual salary may vary based on multiple factors including specific role, geographic location / market data, and skills and experience as defined below:
Lower in range - Building skills and experience in the role
Mid-range - Experience and skills align with proficiency in the role
Higher in range - Experience and skills add value above typical requirements of the role
Some roles may be eligible for performance-based compensation and/or stock-based incentives awarded to employees based on company and individual performance.
